Herb's Supply has an extensive background in the engineering design and construction of fertigation and irrigation systems for cultivation facilities.
Our experienced Service Team provides industrial quality piping installations with craftsman care. Our team has designed and built numerous projects across the country. |
Netafim
The Netaflex™ 3G fertigation equipment featuries a state-of-the-art Open mixing dosing system. Netaflex™ 3G provides very high level of dosing preciseness and uniformity for greenhouses crops. A modular CE-compliant dosing system, Netaflex 3G easily integrates with multiple Netafim and third-party controllers and monitoring systems. Netaflex always injects a uniform quantity of nutrients and perfect EC&PH control. Netaflex Fertigation Data Sheet - Click Here NUF Water Reclaim Data Sheet - Click Here |
Dosatron
The Dosatron Nutrient Delivery System (NDS) is a plug and play version of their time tested piston injection pumps. Dosatron piston pumps operate without any electricity and suck the nutrients inline as the incoming water pressure moves the internal piston. The NDS units are offered in a variety of kits which makes for easy installation. The technical experts at Herb's Supply are available to help with your Dostatron NDS system sizing and product selection. Dosatron NDS System Brochure - Click Here |
Link4
Link4 offers the iDoser automated fertigation controller in addition to their line up of leading environmental greenhouse controller. Herb's Supply fabricates the irrigation plumbing equipment and supplies the batch tanks that are controlled by the iDoser system. The iDoser system precisely controls batch mixing, has redundant EC/pH monitoring, full recipe customization, cloud connectivity and alarm alerts. Link4 iDoser Data Sheet - Click Here |
How does Herb's Supply Design a Fertigation System?
Herb's Supply works closely with our clients to ensure the cultivation facility or farm design, fertigation equipment and your irrigation goals are aligned. There are several parameters that we'll need to review in order to properly size and design the fertigation equipment and irrigation system.
Do you Install Fertigation and Irrigation Systems Near Me?
Yes! The Herb's Supply service team works across the country to install systems in every state. We have completed numerous installs across the country from small craft grows to large tier MSO facilities from Boston to San Francisco. Our clients include the biggest name brands and highest quality craft grows. The Herb's Supply team is ready to take on your project, no matter how big or how small!
Herb's Supply works closely with our clients to ensure the cultivation facility or farm design, fertigation equipment and your irrigation goals are aligned. There are several parameters that we'll need to review in order to properly size and design the fertigation equipment and irrigation system.
- Specify the total number of plants and quantity of plants per room or zone.
- Determine the flow rate model of the drip emitters.
- Establish an irrigation schedule (frequency per day and duration).
- Identify the irrigation zones.
- Specify the nutrients and dosages for all nutrient recipes.
- Decide if the system will use batch tanks or be direct inject.
- Choose the best fertigation equipment for your budget and needs.

What is Fertigation?
Fertigation equipment is used to automatically mix and blend nutrients and deliver nutrients to the irrigation zones by a pump system. Fertigation systems precisely deliver measured amounts of nutrient rich water to your plants and reduce labor costs through automation.
What is the Difference between Batch Tanks and Direct Inject?
Fertigation systems can be designed as Direct Inject where the nutrients are injected into the water as it is pumped directly to the irrigation zones and flows to the plants. Batch tanks are not required in this setup providing a cost effective option and saving space in the equipment room.
In a Batch Tank system, the nutrients are injected and pumped to a holding tank first. The batch tank will have its own dedicated pump system which controls the flow of nutrients to the irrigation zones and plants. It is common to use multiple batch tanks which are dedicated by recipe or grow room. Batch tanks provide a higher level of automation and greater quality control over the recipe batches. Herb's Supply will often incorporate pump recirculation loops onto the batch tank to further blend nutrients and prevent stagnant storage.
Both direct inject and batch tanks are commonly used and either is a great choice for your system. Our fertigation injection equipment can be configured to either method. When space and budget permit, we encourage our clients to incorporate batch tanks into their fertigation setup.
